R&B Ne-Yo remixes Mavado's song

R&B singer adds his voice to I Know You Want Me
Mavado has secured a remix with R&B artiste Ne-Yo after the crooner added his style to the singjay's song I Know You Want Me that was released in April last year.

According to the producer of the track, Troyton, he met Ne-Yo in 2006 and remained in contact with him. When Ne-Yo visited the island a few weeks ago to promote his Compound Island weekend, another connection was made.
"Lately, he came back to Jamaica and we made the link again. After they left, I sent them a protools session. Ne-Yo fell in love with the song and he went on it and killed it," Troyton told the star

When the remix was premiered late last week by ZJ Liquid, Troyton said it got a good response.
"It's great, the street is buzzing. I Know You Want Me got a lot of buzz on its own, so to add Ne-Yo, it's just crazy," he said.
"I am feeling so great. It is a great thing for my career. It's a different kind of remix."
Co-producer of the song, Seanizzle, said he is also happy with the song being remixed.

"It's an overwhelming feeling to know that our music is being seen and appreciated by international artistes in such calibre as Ne-Yo," he told THE STAR
Meanwhile, Troyton said he plans to release another rhythm soon. The next production is Danger Love rhythm that features Mavado, Aidonia, Khago, Konshens, Tarrus Riley, Mr G and Benzley.
