Vybz Kartel Still Governs Says Tommy Lee


Despite being incarcerated Vybz Kartel still governs his Adejaheim Records; well, somewhat.
Gaza entertainer Tommy Lee told the Entertainment Buzz Wednesday (04/07/12), that while Heavy D is responsible for his bookings he’s signed to Kartel’s label therefore, the “world boss” gets a percentage.

Vybz Kartel co-accused freed of murder charge


LENBURGH McDonald, one of the two men charged for murder along with entertainer Vybz Kartel, was on Thursday freed of a separate charge of murder in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court.
McDonald and his co-accused Raymond Wilson was freed following an application by attorney Michael Deans during a preliminary enquiry.

James “Jimmy Henchman” Rosemond made headlines today for his confession to his involvement in the 1994 shooting of Tupac Shakur at the Quad Studio in New York City.

In 1994 armed thugs ambushed Tupac and his entourage at the Quad Studio in New York, and shot him five times.

MAVADO EXPECTED TO RETURN TO COURT WEDNESDAY ON ASSAULT CHARGE


Mavado is expected to return to the Montego Bay R-M court on Wednesday (07/03/12) where he will answer to charges of malicious destruction of property and assault.

When Vado last appeared in court the case was delayed by the request of his lawyer who asked for time to peruse documents submitted by the prosecution.

Tony Matterhorn says new song is not about twin of twins 2012


Despite what seems like a response to Twin of Twins, dancehall artiste and selector Tony Matterhorn says his song Send Dem Home is not about them.

About two weeks ago, Matterhorn released the song that seemed like a response to Twin of Twins' song called Lucky Boy. In the song they questioned the selector's victory at the Sting clash in December.
But in his recent song, Matterhorn says, "None a dem nuh bad like Madgie/ Ova Jamworld everybody see Matterhorn stand alone mi nuh need company/ Who nuh rate mi, mi nuh response fi dem/ Mi send duppy to the cemetery."

Sasique protests "unfair" treatment ... Following elimination from 'Magnum Kings and Queens'

Markella 'Sasique' Allen believes she was given a raw deal by the organisers of the Magnum Kings and Queens of Dancehall. The deejay was disqualified from the competition on February 18, 2012 for reasons she says were unclear.

Sasique was slated to face-off with fellow contestant Little Miss on the night she was eliminated, but says she was not allowed the chance to perform.

Dancehall deejay Elephant Man, whose real name is Oniel Bryan, has been charged with grevious sexual assault and rape.

The entertainer was taken into police custody yesterday for allegations that he raped a 31-year-old female at his Hillcrest Avenue, St Andrew home this month.
