MAVADO EXPECTED TO RETURN TO COURT WEDNESDAY ON ASSAULT CHARGE

Mavado is expected to return to the Montego Bay R-M court on Wednesday (07/03/12) where he will answer to charges of malicious destruction of property and assault.

When Vado last appeared in court the case was delayed by the request of his lawyer who asked for time to peruse documents submitted by the prosecution.

DANCEHALL entertainer Mavado is to face trial on a charge of assault on May 16 next year.

The trial date was set when the entertainer — whose real name is David Brooks — appeared before the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate’s Court yesterday.
